About Collegiate Flag Football

Collegiate Flag Football is an independent publication launched in March 2025 by Matthew Dixon to help spread information about women's flag football. The growth trend of this sport cannot be denied, which led to the creation of CFF and the aim to provide a central location for information on women's flag football. I hope this becomes one of the top resources for anyone affiliated or interested in the sport and having as much information as possible in one place will benefit everyone. I encourage administrators, coaches, fans, and players to email me at cff @ collegiateflagfootball [dot] com or message me on social media if they see any inaccuracies in the information posted or have suggestions on what else to include in newsletters.

One of the goals here at CFF is to have a page dedicated to schedules for the upcoming seasons. I would love to provide this information to coaches and fans around the country. If coaches know of any future tournaments, or have open dates awaiting an opponent, I'd be happy to assist by putting the information in the newsletter. Beyond scheduling items, there are two more things I'd like to include in newsletters: coaching vacancies (head coach or assistant coach roles) and flag football clinics/camps that universities are running or participating in. Being able to share the latest information is vital to continuing the growth of women's flag football.

Ads and Subscriptions

One of the reasons for creating the site on the Ghost platform was to get away from using traditional ads. Ads plastered all over the screen are unsightly, ads that require constant review are not fun, and ads can be a security risk if not vetted carefully by the advertising network like Google Adsense. In short, ads are a headache and don't always benefit the website or the reader.

As I begin building up the content on this site, there will only be a single free subscription tier. A majority of news articles and content will be delivered straight to your email. Informational pages such as the Teams pages will not be included as those will change frequently. I may explore the option of a paid-tier to help offset the costs of running the website at a later date.

It's free to sign up for the Collegiate Flag Football newsletter, which will send posts and updates directly to your email.

Other Ways to Support Collegiate Flag Football

If you enjoy the content here and want to see the website grow, please share this on social media or with any fans of the sport. I've set up accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter). There is also the option to leave a tip if desired but that is strictly optional. Any support whether it's monetary or spreading the good word of the website is greatly appreciated!
